Hartman Road Business Park

In the late 90’s, BDG identified and purchased 203 acres of potential industrial land in west Metro Atlanta. The site featured 3,800 feet of frontage on Interstate 20 but no paved road access or utility service. After developing several engineering concepts, BDG convinced local government to build a public road and extend full utility service. BDG then shepherded the property through the full entitlement process. Based upon this success, an adjacent 36 acre parcel was added to the park in 2002. Approximately 148 acres of the land was sold to a national industrial developer and BDG developed a Class A cross-dock distribution building and co-developed two additional buildings thus generating excellent returns on its invested capital.
