Lakeview at Highlands Business Park

BDG acquired controlling interest in this 150,000 square foot business park in the mid 90’s. At acquisition, the park was 45% vacant and suffering burdensome losses. BDG promptly negotiated favorable mortgage terms, improved the grounds and building exteriors, replaced failed roofs, constructed interior improvements, and aggressively marketed the space. After six months, the property reached mid 90%’s occupancy. Benefiting from its close-in northwest Metro Atlanta location and proximity to Interstate 285, the property performed consistently well. In 2019, BDG sold the property to a national real estate investment company. The investment generated a high teens rate of annual return on invested capital during the holding period.
